Winter is coming!!!!

Here at Blue Marsh Outdoors we’re getting geared up for the fall and winter seasons. Just last week our first boat winterization for the year rolled into our shop and is now safely tucked away in storage.

We’re running a promotion now through the end of October - here are the details: If you get your boat winterized and shrink wrapped with us we will discount your winters storage by 50%! That is a $150 savings!! This deal is only good until October 31st, so don’t delay too long! Our winter storage runs from October 1st - April 30th. We also have summer storage and all year storage available!

Our winterization pricing starts at $80 for a small 2-stroke outboards and ranges in pricing depending on engine type and horsepower from there. To get the most accurate price quote we recommend calling our store at (610) 488-5540. Our winterization process includes draining all water from the engine and flushing with non-toxic antifreeze, fogging the engine, treating the fuel, check any spin off fuel/water separator, check drive oil and propeller, and disconnect the battery.

Our shrink wrapping costs $10 a linear foot for boats under 26’ in length- this includes PWC. Additional costs can occur if absorbent pouches, vents, or framed structure needs to be made to facilitate the warp.

We are still renting kayaks and canoes for Blue Marsh Lake as well! The rentals will remain in service for a few weeks yet before finally be closed for the season sometime in November (weather permitting). Overall we had a nice summer of rentals and we thank all who came out and paddled the warm afternoons away with us! We will see you next year in April!!

Finally, we would like to mention our vastly expanded tackle inventory. The past several week have been a mad house here at our store entering, organizing and pricing new inventory! We have expanded all sectors of our inventory substantially - especially our tackle! We still carry live bait as well, and plan on keeping it throughout the winter months.
